☀️ GreenDeal Now Supports the Full Workflow for 100kW–1MW Mid-scale PV Jobs
GreenDeal has expanded its solar Job management capabilities to support the full workflow for 100kW–1MW Mid-scale PV Jobs, helping Retailers and Installers manage commercial Mid-scale PV projects from Job creation and installation through to lodgement.
The update follows the Clean Energy Regulator’s (CER) latest Transitional Requirements for commercial Mid-scale Solar PV systems.
🚀 Supporting 100kW–1MW Mid-scale PV Jobs
Retailers can now create Mid-scale PV Jobs directly on GreenDeal and upload the required documentation in advance.
For eligible projects, Testing and Commissioning must take place on or after 1 October 2026.
From 1 October 2026, eligible Mid-scale PV Jobs can be lodged through GreenDeal once the installation is complete.
GreenDeal will then conduct the required compliance checks and store the submitted evidence. Eligible Jobs will be submitted to CER in November once the REC Registry is ready.
🛠️ Ready for Commissioning
Projects do not necessarily need to wait until 1 October to begin early-stage installation work.
Rough-in and early-stage installation work can be undertaken before 1 October 2026, while Testing and Commissioning must take place on or after 1 October 2026.
This allows businesses to progress eligible projects while preparing for the commencement of the new Mid-scale Solar arrangements.

Uploading the applicable documentation in advance can help prepare the Job for GreenDeal’s compliance review.
🔌 System and NMI
Under the Mid-scale PV requirements, NMI is no longer an absolute boundary for systems.
PV systems located at an adjoining site may be included in the total system capacity when assessing eligibility.
📝 STC Form
Participants should continue using the current STC Form until CER publishes a new version.
If CER subsequently requires a new STC Form to be completed or re-signed for affected Mid-scale PV Jobs, GreenDeal will be in touch with the relevant participants.
🔔 Transitional Requirements May Change
The Mid-scale Solar requirements remain transitional and may change before late November 2026.
